Prohibited Left Turns - Kiss and Ride

Stanley Mills PS has a dedicated Kiss and Ride Lane at the side of the school. 

Due to the heavy volume of two-way traffic on Sunny Meadow Blvd, it is imperative that drivers obey posted traffic signs including the two "No Left Turn" signs at the end of the school driveway. Prohibited turns can result in accidents or worse. 

Please be advised that illegal left turns in Ontario may carry a fine of $110 and two demerit points. While we appreciate how difficult it can be to navigate the rush of cars in the morning and afternoon, the safety of our students and their families is our number one priority.

Please continue to talk to your child(ren) about road safety regarding drop-offs and pick-ups.
